LET'S GO!
What's been added to my 'things I need to create' list
Gin Citrus Punch
Not only because people should drink more gin, this fruity drink can be customised to your taste with your own blend of juice. And the recipe is simply: juice, gin + sparkling water.
And besides, our warm Durban winter definitely needs to be celebrated (with gin) too.
I'm keen to try it out with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and topped with granadilla (I'll have to go shopping in my mom's garden for both). It could also be really delicious with pomegranate juice, rosemary and ground black pepper.

Fun Foody things to do over the next few days
Below is the menu - looks divine, doesn't it?! I'm dying to try the Pork Rillette with Braised Prunes & Cherries. Although I shared my love for cherries - I'll be honest, my favourite fruits are grapefruit and prunes. Don't hate.
Please call or email to book and if you have any questions, I'm sure Brett (Head Chef and fantastic owner) will be willing to answer them.

Other than the above, there are two markets happening in Durban this weekend: the I Heart Market and The Morning Trade. Be sure to check them out if you haven't before and go grab your local produce from The Morning Trade (kale and quail eggs included).
