If life during these two years has taught me anything is that redirecting one's passions and focus is not "wrong", lazy or something born out of neglect. I started this blog to share my genuine and ever-present love for food and the science behind it, and this paired wonderfully with what I was learning whilst completing my degree in Food and Nutrition. Over the past two years, life has changed quite a lot and unfortunately my effort on my blog dropped down a couple of notches on the 'priority list' - I do apologise for this. With a renewed focus on work and my degree, I am very proud to share that I received excellent results and just missed graduating cum laude (which for those of you who don't know, graduating cum laude is receiving an average of 75% or higher for all subjects, and I had 30). In terms of my profession, I am fast becoming a "Jack of all trades" within the marketing department of the company I work for - and am genuinely enjoying the mix of project management, strategy, digital media and inbound marketing principles. For me this is quite extraordinary as I have always battled to combine my love for food, science, managing things and making sure things work, together with my creative flair in the arts which culminate in working with people.
So where to from here?
